But it’s not just the grounds, indoors at Flear House is sure to delight too – in fact you may find that when you arrive you want to stay forever.

Walk through the pillared entrance into a superb dining hall with large inglenook fireplace, explore the elegant drawing room complete with its marble fireplace, and curl up in front of the fire in the snug. There you’ll find a TV, DVD player and a selection of toys and films to keep the little ones occupied - the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring the best places to see and things to do in South Devon.

Everything You Need For the Family

Flear House is truly one of the most charming holiday homes that South Devon has to offer. It boasts an enormous well-equipped kitchen with eat-in breakfast area and comes complete with Aga and electric and gas cookers. Leading from the kitchen, you’ll find an enclosed courtyard with table as well as the large patio with a three-burner gas BBQ and seating for ten overlooking the heated outdoor swimming pool - exclusively for guests of Flear House.

A Blissful Nights Sleep

Meanwhile, the grand oak staircase will take you up to a galleried landing where the bedrooms that lead off are all spacious and tastefully decorated. The huge master suite has a 6ft bed, its own dressing room and even an en suite jacuzzi bath. There are two bedrooms each with 5 ft beds and both with en suite facilities, and two further bedrooms each with two twin beds. There is also a large shower room and WC. With space for up to 10 guests, Flear House is the perfect holiday home in South Devon for large families or groups seeking comfort and luxury under one roof.

This large holiday home with private pool (heated, of course!), is set in lawned gardens overlooking our beautiful valley; the perfect backdrop for those special celebration photos. The outdoor pool is open from early May to the end of September, with plenty of space around it for lounging, dining, and enjoying all the facilities we have at Flear for you to use.

Amazing place for families

So many facilities at the site for children and for adults come rain or come shine, and such a tranquil location. Also so many beaches, trips and experiences within a short drive. We have been numerous times over the years and this time we booked Flear House - the grand children loved it! Hide and seek in a big old farmhouse, plus an outdoor pool. What's not to like?

Wonderful few days with family

Just returned from a short stay at Flear House, and had a truly relaxing time.

The house had everything we needed, the gardens were beautifully kept. We made full use of the play barn, indoor pool and our private pool (maybe needed to be slightly warmer for the time of year) and of course the tranquil nature walks right on our doorstep, which even as adults I don’t think you’d get bored doing them every day!

Don’t change a thing here, you’ve got it spot on.

Wonderful

Thank you so much for making our family Christmas weekend in Flear House so wonderful. The house is beautiful and with all the Christmas decorations and the stunning Christmas trees which you kindly provided, it was very special indeed. This was our second visit to Flear Farm and I'm sure it'll not be our last.
As always, the play barn, swimming pool, tennis courts, woodland walks etc were thoroughly enjoyed by all. Merry Christmas to you and the boys.

A truly magical place to stay

A truly magical place to stay, we stayed in Flear House which was exceptional! Every detail is so thought through from the cots being set up for our arrival, to the great stock in the honestly shop. The children’s experiences of the animal feeding, play park, play barn and swimming were fantastic! If I could give more than 5* I would, a truly amazing & memorable stay thank you :)
