An open-plan farm holiday cottage | Sleeps 3
(1 King, 1 Single + optional cots)
Taking its name from the date stone in the end wall of the cottage, 1843 is compact and full of charm. This is one not to miss if you’re looking for a farm holiday cottage that sleeps three people.
Completely open plan, showing off its beautiful exposed beam ceiling, the ground floor contains a well-appointed kitchen, small dining table and chairs and comfortable living area. Perfect for spending precious time together.
And even better, you can access the enclosed garden through stable doors just off the living space, meaning the little one can safely play while you’re cooking dinner. Then when bedtime is done, why not simply relax and catch the evening sun with a glass of something cold in the garden overlooking the valley.
On the first floor you’ll find a single bedroom and family bathroom, while the beautiful spacious master bedroom with its king size bed is on the second floor.
When you stay at 1843, you‘ll also have access to the wonderful facilities shared by all 12 Flear Farm holiday cottages. From the outdoor playground to the indoor pool, spa and playbarn – you can even challenge one another to a game of pitch ‘n’ putt. And don’t forget to keep an eye out for our animals while you wander by the stream. You’ll find Bantam chickens, ponies, alpacas and more as you explore our 27-acre grounds.
Why not head to 1843 to explore during the cooler months? You’ll soon warm up this quaint open-plan holiday cottage when you throw a few logs into the wood burning stove giving you a wonderfully cosy base to come back to.
We’d love for you to join us at Flear Farm.

“Dear Barney and Camilla,
Thank you so much for your email. We had a completely wonderful time. It was my husband’s 40th birthday and he couldn’t have asked for anywhere better to spend it. The weather helped too! Our toddler loved the outside playground and the playbarn. We will definitely be coming back as soon as we can.
