Thanks to The Linhay’s private driveway you’ll feel safely tucked away, and there’s even an easily accessible private garden that’s perfect for the kids to play in while you read the papers on the west-facing veranda over a pre-dinner G&T. What’s more, The Linhay is positioned next to the Lord’s Path, making it a wonderful base from which to explore Flear Valley.

Decorated in calm neutrals throughout, including a well-appointed, Shaker style kitchen with granite worktops and an American style fridge-freezer, and with a clean, modern white bathroom suite. The Linhay is truly a relaxing place to be.

You’ll find the master bedroom, with its king-size bed through a door from the lounge, its bathroom a few steps away, while the first-floor twin bedroom, with its en suite shower, is just off the gallery that runs the full length of the cottage. Each bedroom is decorated with rustic charm and provides everything you’re likely to need for your stay.

Cosy outdoor seating area under a rustic wooden lean-to with warm string lights, stone walls, and a bistro table set for drinks, creating a romantic evening ambience.

And don’t forget this baby-friendly holiday cottage also gives you access to everything else Flear Farm has to offer, from the soft play in our playbarn, the warm indoor pool and even the chance to visit our animals in the nearby paddocks.

A wonderful feature that was added at the Linhay more recently, is the beautiful outside snug that gives the cottage its name. A small lean to that was originally used for storing the hay cart has been repurposed to create a cosy and romantic outdoor seating space under the warm glow of the festoon lights. Bring some champagne!

Back from our 3rd consecutive family holiday here

Just back from our 3rd consecutive family holiday here. We're a family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 kids (aged 8 and 6). I can't tell you how perfect it is for our family. The comfy, warm and immaculate cottage (we were in the Linhay) but they all look beautiful. The incredible swimming pool with steam, sauna and hot tub! Such a well equipped play barn, we want to explore the surrounding area as there is so much to offer there but we literally can't get the kids to leave Flear Farm.

We're already booked again for next year. The sure sign of a top holiday!
