Dogs at Flear

Flear Farm is Dog-Friendly primarily because we are Family-Friendly and for us, dogs are part of the family.

Well behaved dogs are welcome at our discretion and by prior arrangement. We are dog-friendly, but we do not allow excessively barky dogs, as it's not fair on us, or other dog owners, or the other families here.

Please do not allow your dog on the furniture, or into the bedrooms. Most importantly, dog owners should ensure that dogs are kept on the lead when around the cottages and the public spaces (We have free roaming chickens here on site that wander the spaces around the cottages) and to be diligent in picking-up after them. We are dog lovers - we want to stay dog lovers!

Happy dogs enjoying the stream in Flear Farms Valley, south Devon

You will find some great dog-friendly pubs and walks around us and lots of places in our valley and woodland to let the dog run so they won't feel hard done by!

Additional cost of £25 per dog, per stay.

Apart from in the Alpaca paddock dogs can be let loose in the valley with confidence (provided the dog is moderately obedient of course!). The Ponies, Abbie & Willow, are used to dogs, and there is no access to livestock in our valley. The walks by the stream and to our Duck Pond and Fishing Pond are a delight for dogs and their owners. You will also find a wonderful walk into Flear Wood that is a real treat! Lots of smells and nooks and ancient paths make for a fun walk for all.

The following local beaches are Dog-Friendly all year round:
