Cartwheel, mirrored by its next-door neighbour The Mangers, is a cottage with an open fire and a lovely neutral interior. An inviting space to come back to after a busy day exploring.

With its spacious yet cosy living area that is flooded by morning light, Cartwheel boasts, as its focal point, an open fireplace with two comfortable sofas positioned to take full advantage of the warmth generated. Just off here you’ll find a generous kitchen that contains a large and convenient kitchen island and dining table for four. There’s also a huge fridge freezer that will more than accommodate your food and drink needs for the entirety of your stay.

Just outside the front door you’ll find a private veranda where you can enjoy a leisurely breakfast or relaxing evening drink.

Stairs lead from the living room to the upper floor where you’ll find the master bedroom, an airy and bright room with exposed beams, a twin bedroom and a bathroom. And we will be happy to add a cot to the master bedroom if necessary.

If you choose to stay with us in Cartwheel, we will also be pleased to offer you access to the facilities and services available at Flear Farm. From spa treatments to a hot tub with a view, we’re here to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible whatever the time of year.

And if there’s anything you need during your stay we will be only too happy to help.

We just wanted to say how much we enjoyed our stay at Flear Farm at the weekend – Cartwheel Cottage was very comfortable, the setting lovely and the boys absolutely loved the Playbarn and swimming pool. It was just what we were hoping for to celebrate Nick’s birthday and we really felt relaxed afterwards – better than a spa weekend! (shame it all wears off too quickly on return!) It was lovely to visit the South Hams out of season and we would definitely like to come back… Thanks for making us feel so at home.
